13-2-2013  Wednesday   --  Cloudy and windy

Today we had breakfast at 7:30 a.m. as usual. We had a piece of baked cheese bread and some confrake. Then we set off at 9:00 a.m. We travelled for about 45 minutes to the Science Museum.

We spent an hour in the Science Museum. I made use of the time to walk around and took lots of pictures with the exhibits of different categories, such as energy, aircraft, internet etc. There I had learnt a lot of scientific facts. Pitifully, there wasn't enough time that I left the museum without visiting all the exhibition centres. In the shop of the museum, many interesting science experimental games could be found. Some of us bought a remoted-controlled helicopter, a microscope and even a professional telescope which worthed 43 pounds! Everyone was satisifed.

After that, we all proceeded to the Natural History Museum. There were a lot of skeletions of the extincted animals, including the reptiles, mammals and marine animals. There were even the skeletons of dinosaurs and skulls of human beings. I was so excited and again, took a lot of pictures. I bought some souvenirs for my friends in the shop as well. Since time was limited, we could only stay there for an hour. Then we proceeded to the next spot.

Next, we went to the Oxford Circus. We shopped around the area for an hour. It should be the last opportunity for us to buy souvenirs, so I wasn't trying to be frugal anymore, but to purchase as soon as I saw things I like. At last, I bought a jacket for myself, some chocolate, key chains and  mini ornaments as souvenirs. It was tiring but enjoyable.

We had dinner at a restaurant called 'Chiquito'. There we had steak, fries and soft drinks. The sets were a bit expensive, but we had a good time chatting and playing with the decorating ballons in the restaurant with each other. It was my birthday today. So at the end of the meal, a birthday cake was presented as birthday cake for me. It was totally surprising. The classmates sang a birthday song and ate the cake with me. I was so touched. I thank all of them. It was a really unforgettable and memorable birthday to me.

After dinner, some of us went to the supermarket and the others preferred back to the dormitory. were are leaving tomorrow, so we should make use of the night to pack our luggages.

In conclusion, the trip is really unforgettable and enjoyable. I am lucky of meeting everyone in the trip and having such a good time. Although it is the end of the London trip, I think we have created forever frienship!
