4-2-2013 School Day - Diary by Lo Chak Yin James

Today was our first day of lesson here. I personally think it was an excellent experience and that I already learned a lot on this first day.

The first lesson today was ICT. Our teacher is Mr. Tino. He is a really nice and helpful person. In this lesson, we learned about the basics of programming. We used a simple programming software called 'scratch'.

My second and final lesson today was religious eduction. I had a lot of fun in this lesson and I enjoyed it very much. We had discussions on many subjects about God. We talked briefly about the three names of God.

The second topic we discussed was about the temptation to sins and how we can resist it. One of the ways is to ask God for help. God answers all prayers, but His answers may differ depending on who the prayer was. There is only three answers. Yes, because it may be good for you. No, because it is not good or helpful to you. Wait, you are not ready now.

After that, we watched a movie called The Blind Side. It is a very touching movie which I would love to watch again. Then we went for dinner. The food was pretty good, considering it was a vegetarian meal.

Altoghether it was a very educational and meaningful day full of excitement. I am really looking forward to tomorrow's lessons! I'm sure it will be as exciting as today.
