12-2-2013 Diary by Kwong Chung Jacky
Today, I had a wonderful day. I came to the beautiful city, Cambridge. I could see clouds of white and fields of green. There were a lot of splendid churches and buildings. It was an impressive grand sight and I took a lot of photos.
Firstly, we took a boat ride along the rivers. There was a bleak wind which I felt chilled to the bone. I was so excited as I had the sight of the whole Cambridge campus. Then we went shopping near the Kings College. There were a huge variety of shops, but the downside was that the souvenirs were so expensive there. I bought some gifts for my family. One of the gifts I bought was a coloured jade ring. As I was walking around the campus, I found a sacred church. When I stepped into the church, I felt very peaceful and calm as if I were in the salvation from my sins. I really enjoyed this experience in the church.
As the time passed, it was about time for us to have dinner. We went to an Italian restaurant. The dinner was really delicious. Really did I ejoy the dinner there.

Today we went to Cambridge. We enjoyed the punting trip. There were beautiful views along the river. The buildings were special and classic. We fed the ducks and sea gulls with some bread, chips and biscuits. After we dismissed in King's College, we did shopping in the town. We were happy that we could buy some souvenirs for our friends and relatives. Finally, we went to an Italian restaurant for dinner. It was called 'Frankie and Bennys'. I ordered Chicken Carbonara with a cup of hot chocolate. The spaghetti was pretty good but the chicken was tasteless. Anyway, I enjoyed the food very much.
